Villagers

Raleigh Village East (RVE) runs on social capital—the combined energy, knowledge and creativity of a network of people working together for the greater good.

Our connected community includes Villagers from Our Neighborhoods (map), as well as dedicated volunteers, generous donors, service providers and staff. Together we create a vibrant network and a culture of caring that enhances the way we age.

Who Can Be a Villager?

If you are 55+ and live in these neighborhoods in downtown Raleigh, you are considered a Villager: Oakwood, Pilot Mill, Mordecai, Oakdale, Capitol Heights, Idlewild, College Park, Madonna Acres, Chavis Park and South Park. 

If you have a 55+ parent or family member who lives within these neighborhoods, they can be a Villager.
